I found Tammy on Craigslist right after my daughter was born. I interviewed with her and spoke to a couple of her references. Even after research, I was still very frightened to leave my 12 week old with anyone! I remember the first day, I only left her there for a half day and I was very emotional. By the second or third day things were easier. Tammy was very calm, patient, understanding. My daughter was always excited to go to daycare. Some of the other reasons for choosing Tammy include her ongoing education/training, scheduling and curriculum, healthy meals and snacks, little or no tv viewing. I decided to be a stay at home mom after the birth of my son and my daughter was 12 days away from age 2. It has been about two years that we have been at home. I am still good friends with Tammy and our children still love each other so much! We go on field trips together, do birthday parties and play dates. It was a great experience and I would recommend Tammy to anyone.

Tammy has become an extremely important part of our lives and family. We interviewed her before our daughter was born and knew when we saw her interact with her other child care kids that she was the best person for our family. She is loving and nurturing, and the kids adore her. There is no doubt that Tammy has been an integral part of our daughter's development. Not only does she take excellent care of our daughter, but Tammy has become a friend and part of our parenting support system. As new parents, questions come up all of the time and Tammy has become the sounding board when we need non-judgmental advice.
We are moving our family to another part of town and are incredibly sad that we will have to take our daughter out of her child care after about 9 months. We hope and pray we'll find someone as wonderful as Tammy but they will undoubtedly be big shoes to fill.

When we were looking for daycare for our child, we looked at several places before finding Tammy's ad on Craigslist. The first thing we noticed is how qualified she was to watch over our precious child. This was very important to us, as it's such a big decision to leave your kiddo with someone. Trust me, we couldn't have found a better person!
It's been a year and a half since our child started attending Tammy's Home Childcare, and there's no place else I want my child to be. She loves all the children as if they were her own, teaches them an excellent curriculum, assists with potty training when the child is ready, and even takes them on field trips every once in a while to the WoW museum, museum of nature and science, and the zoo!!
Our child has learned so much from her, and her training and years of experience have really showed!

I have to say Tammy's Home Childcare is the best place I could have sent my daughter. The care is very personal, she treats the children as her own and cares very much about each one of them. Her style of teaching amazes me every time I hear of something new they did from learning about their senses to fractions using a cookie and making shape books to learning with music. Other home daycares my daughter went to before tammy were just "baby sitters" where they learned nothing new. Six out of five stars!!!
